The task was to arrange an end to end logistics solution for six storage tanks each measuring 12.7 x 2.6 x 3.65 meters from Saudi Arabia to Bangladesh.
Instead of carrying the cargo as BB, Team FLS yet again displayed their innovativeness by placing and lashing the tanks on flat bed containers whilst making sure all the corner castings were free to lift. Prior transporting the structure (jigs) measuring 18x4.6x3.2 meters, weighing 23 tonnes from Ras Al Khaimah to Jebel Ali port, we have done the route survey and prepared the method of statement, and successfully loaded the structure on container ship through BB method.
